Index.php logon problem

The installation was successful but the default page ie. index.php does not show login box. What i see is a text "Login or Quick Search" with a key symbol at left side, and even clicking on dosent show Logon box.
My configuration is:
OS - Windows 2000 server
Webserver- Apache 2.2.6
PHP 5.2
DB- MySQL - 5.0
Browser - ie6

our script required linux os server.
the login and search box doesn't appear because the included file doesn't working properly.
checking in template or related files.

Thanks for the support. I think, it would be better if the scripts are supported in Windows, IIS, PHP5 and MySql5/MSSQL 2005 platform also! Anyway, I'm trying to make it work on Windows...and update you the progress!!
Some other programmers may also be working for the same goal..if so what about creating one section here for windows support also? Wish you all the best...
